Leading the industry has been a KaVo tradition, and now KaVo Dental is pleased to announce an expedited handpiece service process, which will result in improved turnaround time on handpiece repairs. We encourage electronic submission for preferred and fastest processing. KaVo will be notified about your incoming handpiece requiring service which allows us to prepare for your needs. After receiving your handpiece(s), KaVo strives for rapid turnaround on electronically pre-submitted service requests.




Available service options for your handpieces

Warranty Repair:
All warranty claims must include valid invoice. Please include copy of invoice with your shipment.

Limited Repair - 90 Day Warranty:
A limited repair includes meticulous cleaning, diagnostic testing and minor repair to meet KaVo specifications. If an overhaul is needed, the dealer will be notified.

Complete Overhaul - 1 Year Warranty:
An overhaul includes meticulous cleaning and refurbishing of internal handpiece components to that of "new" product performance. The overhauled handpiece will carry a 1 year warranty. An overhaul may result in change of serial number.



How it works

  • Please call your authorized KaVo dealer for a repair (purchase) order number
  • Fill out form and submit to KaVo
  • Print copy of final form for your own records and print one copy to include with your shipment
  • If claiming warranty, enclose a copy of dealer invoice
  • Place handpiece(s) and copy of form in shipping box* and send to KaVo

* Do you need a protective shipping box for your handpiece service needs? Call your dealer or KaVo at 800 323 8029 to request your free “At Your Service Box” for mail-in repair.
